The next meeting of the Committee on Security and Defence (SEDE) is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 24 September 2025 from 9.00-12.30 and 14.30-18.30 and Thursday, 25 September 2025 from 9.00-12.30 in Brussels (room SPAAK 3C050).

A delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET), led by Chair David McAllister, will travel to Bern, Switzerland from 11 to 12 September 2025. During the visit, Members will discuss notably the new broad package of agreements that aim to consolidate, deepen and expand the bilateral relations between the EU and Switzerland.
Political agreement on this broad package was reached in December 2024. In Bern, Members will have the opportunity to exchange with representatives of the government and parliament on the upcoming ratification processes on both sides.

Kilencpontos, főként korlátozó intézkedéseket tartalmazó csomagot jelentett be Izraellel szemben a spanyol miniszterelnök hétfőn Madridban, hogy megpróbáljon nyomást gyakorolni az izraeli kormányra "a gázai népirtás megállítása érdekében".

Marián Viskupič bírálta, hogy a kormánytagok a konszolidáció idején luxuslimuzinokkal közlekednek. Az SaS beterjesztet egy javaslatot, amelyben világosan meghatározzák, mennyi pénzt költhetnek a szolgálati gépjárművekre.

Hétfőn összeütközött egy kocsi és egy autóbusz a Galgóci járásban. Két személy könnyű sérüléseket szenvedett, az autó sofőrjét súlyos sérülésekkel mentőhelikopterrel szállították kórházba.
