Therefore, three experts will brief the SEDE Committee to explore the technical and geopolitical ramifications of sabotage and other disruptions to our subsea infrastructure, and to discuss possible options for response and improving resilience to such actions.

La Commission de l'Union Economique et Monétaire Ouest Africaine (UEMOA) organise, jeudi 13 février 2025, à la Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie du Burkina Faso (CCI BF), la cérémonie de remise des prix aux lauréats de la 3e édition de l'initiative « Tremplin Start-Up UEMOA ».

Les lauréats de la 3e édition de l'initiative « Tremplin Start-Up UEMOA » organisée sous le thème « Le marketing créatif et digital pour promouvoir les Industries Culturelles et Créatives (ICC) » seront primés ce jeudi. Cette édition a permis de sélectionner 10 meilleurs projets nationaux de start-ups et de les soumettre à une compétition régionale.

« Au total, cinq (05) prix d'Excellence ont été mis en jeu pour les meilleurs projets du classement de la sélection régionale. Vingt-quatre (24) prix d'encouragement seront également décernés, à raison de trois (03) par Etat membre de l'UEMOA, de même que des primes aux structures de promotion accompagnant les start-ups », informe la direction de communication de l'USAID. En plus des trois (03) prix d'encouragement allant de 4 à 6 millions de FCFA, le Burkina Faso remporte le 2e Prix d'Excellence Régional doté de 13 millions de FCFA avec la start-up SANBBIZ de Joseph SANWIDI.

L'initiative « Tremplin Start-Up UEMOA » vise à « encourager l'innovation en entreprise, à travers l'accompagnement de start-ups innovantes, en vue de la diversification et de la densification du tissu économique de l'espace communautaire ».
