À Bohicon, la célébration de la fête Vodun, vendredi 10 janvier 2025, a été marquée par une démarche symbolique du maire Rufino d'Almeida.
Accompagné d'une importante délégation, il a rendu une visite spéciale au roi Dako Kpogbémabou.

Une rencontre empreinte de solennité entre le maire Rufino d'Almeida et le roi Dako Kpogbémabou. Il s'agit d'une visite effectuée par les élus de Bohicon ayant permis de souhaiter une excellente fête au roi et aux fidèles de la religion Vodun. Le geste, hautement symbolique, reflète l'attachement du maire aux valeurs culturelles et spirituelles de la commune, et sa volonté d'encourager l'unité et l'harmonie sociale.

Le roi Dako Kpogbémabou, visiblement touché par cette marque d'attention n'a pas manqué de manifester sa gratitude. Dans son discours, il a salué cette initiative qui renforce les liens entre les autorités traditionnelles et communales. Le Roi a également prié pour le maire et son équipe, implorant les déités pour qu'elles veillent sur eux et guident leurs actions dans l'intérêt de la commune.
