Die deutsche Wirtschaft ist 2025 im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 0,2 Prozent gewachsen, wie das Statistische Bundesamt heute bekannt gegeben hat. Dazu eine Einschätzung von Geraldine Dany-Knedlik, Konjunkturchefin des Deutschen Instituts für Wirtschaftsforschung (DIW Berlin):

Mit einem Plus von 0,2 Prozent ist die deutsche Wirtschaft 2025 zwar wieder gewachsen, die Erholung fällt aber deutlich schwächer aus als in vergangenen Aufschwungphasen. Nach zwei Jahren der Schrumpfung zeigt sich damit eine Stabilisierung, jedoch noch kein kräftiger Neustart.

Strukturelle Belastungen wie der Verlust an Wettbewerbsfähigkeit, der demografische Wandel und laufende Anpassungen in wichtigen Industriezweigen dämpfen zwar weiterhin das Wachstum. Hinzu kommen externe Faktoren, insbesondere die erhöhten US-Zölle auf deutsche Exporte. Dennoch ist nicht zu erwarten, dass die deutsche Wirtschaft weiterhin und langanhaltend stagniert.

Vor allem die Binnenwirtschaft macht Hoffnung. Neben dem öffentlichen Sektor leistet insbesondere die private Nachfrage einen wichtigen Beitrag. Man kann also durchaus vorsichtig optimistisch in das Jahr 2026 blicken: Wenn die bereits beschlossenen finanzpolitischen Maßnahmen ihre volle Wirkung entfalten, ist eine spürbare Belebung möglich. Ein Wachstum von über einem Prozent erscheint dann realistisch.

Unlike ever before, Iran’s Islamic regime is facing a revolt led by a generation that has lost its fear. Young and old, men and women, students and workers, are flooding the streets across the country.

Iran’s future may well hinge on whether its military chooses to act and save the country, driven by economic collapse, corruption, and decades of repression. Women and girls are at the forefront, protesting without headscarves, defying the clergy that once controlled every aspect of their lives. They don’t want reform; they are demanding freedom, economic relief, and the end of authoritarianism.

Shutting down the internet, arresting nearly 17,000 protesters, killing at least 3,000, including children, and Trump’s threat to use force to stop the Iranian regime have not prevented the mullahs from continuing their onslaught. The regime’s ruthless crackdown has been a calamitous wave of repression, taking thousands of lives in a brutal attempt to crush dissent. Yet even in the face of such peril, the public remains undeterred, determined to continue their fight.

Now, however, they need the support of the most powerful domestic—not foreign—power to come to their aid. The Iranian military is the most pivotal institution in the country, capable of catalyzing the downfall of the regime. The military is the key player, with significant internal influence and the capability to drive the necessary change from within, ultimately leading to regime change.

Every officer in the military should stop and think, how do I want to serve my country.

Do I want to continue to prop up a bunch of reactionaries, self-obsessed old men who have long since lost their relevance, wearing the false robe of piety to appear sanctimonious while subjugating the people to hardship and hopelessness?

Should I not support the younger generation who are yearning for a better life, for opportunity, for a future that gives meaning to their existence?

Should I not participate in sparking the revival of this magnificent nation from the doldrums of the past 47 years that have consumed it from within?

Should I continue to prepare for war against Israel, or extend a peaceful hand and invest in building my country with such immense natural and human riches and be in the forefront of all other modern democratic and progressive nations, and restore the glory of ancient Persia?

Do I truly want to continue to wear blinders and let my country be destroyed from within, or should I become part of a newly reborn nation and take personal pride in helping to revive it?

The answer to these questions should be clear to every officer. The military should establish a transitional government and pave the way for a legitimate, freely elected government, and restore the Iranian people’s dignity and their right to be free.

The idea that the Shah’s son, Reza Pahlavi, could return and restore a monarchy is just the opposite of what the Iranian people need. Instead of another form of corruption or an old kingdom, they deserve a democracy and genuine freedom.

In the final analysis, Iran’s destiny may rest on a single profound choice—whether its military steps forward to reshape the nation’s destiny.

Annoncés lors du Conseil des ministres du 26 décembre 2025, les travaux de requalification de l'esplanade du Palais des Congrès de Cotonou ont démarré sur le site.

Des engins sont déjà mobilisés et des équipes techniques s'activent sur l'esplanade du Palais des Congrès. Ces travaux s'inscrivent dans la dynamique de modernisation des infrastructures publiques et de renforcement de l'attractivité urbaine et touristique de la ville de Cotonou.

Selon les orientations arrêtées en Conseil des ministres, l'aménagement prévoit une reconfiguration de la zone Nord du site en une esplanade modulable, capable d'accueillir des foires, des manifestations culturelles ainsi que des rencontres institutionnelles.

Des espaces dédiés aux spectateurs et des aires de stationnement ponctuelles sont également prévus pour répondre aux besoins logistiques liés aux grands événements.

La zone Sud, quant à elle, sera exclusivement réservée au stationnement et à la logistique des manifestations, avec un aménagement paysager et des accès orientés vers le sud. La reprise de la clôture du côté de la Marina ainsi que l'installation d'un podium scénique viendront compléter ce dispositif de transformation.

Sur le terrain, les premiers travaux traduisent la volonté du gouvernement de passer rapidement de la phase de planification à celle de la réalisation.

La culture béninoise s'illustre à l'international. Du 12 décembre 2025 au 14 janvier 2026, le Ghana accueille « Les Revenants », une exposition artistique consacrée à la mémoire, à la culture et à la spiritualité vodun. Porté par Adétoyé Aguessy, le projet met en lumière les œuvres de l'artiste béninois Dimitri Fagbohoun, sous le commissariat de Éssé Dabla-Attikpo.
Les promoteurs affirment leur volonté de partager leur patrimoine culturel et spirituel avec le monde, en s'appuyant sur l'art contemporain comme vecteur de dialogue entre les peuples.

Une immersion dans la mémoire et la spiritualité Vodun

"Les Revenants" explore la relation entre l'homme, l'histoire et le sacré. Les œuvres présentées interrogent la mémoire collective et mettent en évidence la place centrale de la spiritualité vodun dans la construction des sociétés béninoises.
Pour l'artiste Dimitri Fagbohoun, le choix du titre est révélateur de cette démarche artistique et identitaire.« Le titre “Revenants” est né à partir de notre réflexion. Nous voulons partager la spiritualité du Bénin et sa culture avec le monde », explique-t-il.
À travers des formes symboliques et des références ancestrales, l'exposition invite le public à une lecture contemporaine du Vodun, loin des clichés, et recentrée sur ses valeurs de transmission et de continuité.

Un projet culturel à portée panafricaine

L'exposition s'inscrit également dans une dynamique de rapprochement entre le Bénin et le Ghana, deux pays liés par l'histoire, la géographie et les héritages culturels. Le thème du retour sur la terre africaine traverse l'ensemble du parcours artistique, avec pour ambition de renforcer les liens entre les peuples africains et ceux de la diaspora.
Le commissaire de l'exposition, Éssé Dabla-Attikpo, souligne la forte présence de la spiritualité dans les œuvres et la vocation itinérante du projet. À terme, Les Revenants pourrait être présentée au Bénin, permettant ainsi un retour symbolique de l'exposition vers son territoire d'origine.

Un initiative d'éducation culturelle

Initiateur du projet, Adétoyé Aguessy justifie son engagement par une volonté claire de valorisation du patrimoine béninois à l'étranger.« J'ai décidé de porter ce projet parce que je voulais rapprocher les peuples des deux pays, le Bénin et le Ghana, à travers l'histoire. Depuis 2019, le Ghana connaît un afflux important de touristes. En attendant que le monde entier visite le Bénin pour comprendre notre culture, nous avons choisi de porter cette culture à l'extérieur », explique-t-il.
Selon lui, l'exposition permet au public ghanéen, mais aussi aux nombreux touristes internationaux présents au Ghana, de découvrir une partie de la richesse culturelle et spirituelle du Bénin. Au-delà de l'événement artistique, le projet s'inscrit dans une démarche d'éducation culturelle, où l'art devient un langage universel au service du dialogue, de la mémoire et du rapprochement des peuples.

L'art comme outil de rayonnement du Bénin

Avec Les Revenants, les promoteurs utilisent l'art comme un levier de rayonnement culturel et identitaire au service de son pays, le Bénin. L'exposition se présente comme une vitrine de la culture vodun et une invitation à une meilleure compréhension des traditions béninoises par un public international.
