Der Rat hat heute beschlossen, seine restriktiven Maßnahmen als Reaktion auf schwere Menschenrechtsverletzungen in Iran bis zum 13. April 2022 zu verlängern. Außerdem hat er acht Personen und drei Organisationen angesichts ihrer Rolle bei der gewaltsamen Reaktion auf die Demonstrationen in Iran vom November 2019 in die Sanktionsliste aufgenommen.
