The Council approved conclusions on the EU development aid targets for 2021 in the form of the eleventh annual report to the European Council.

The Council approved conclusions stressing the need for renewed focus on support for and advancement of human development across EU external engagement, ensuring that EU values and interests are pursued and no-one is left behind.

The Council today adopted conclusions on the European financial architecture for development (EFAD). The conclusions stress the urgent need to address the development challenges reinforced by COVID-19 pandemic.

A Tanács általános megközelítést ért el a transzeurópai energiahálózatról (TEN-E) szóló rendelet felülvizsgálatáról, amelynek célja korszerűsíteni, dekarbonizálni és összekapcsolni az EU határokon átnyúló energetikai infrastruktúráját, és ezzel hozzásegíteni az Uniót a 2050-re elérendő klímasemlegességi célkitűzés megvalósításához.

A Tanács következtetéseket hagyott jóvá az épületkorszerűsítési programról, melynek célja Unió-szerte fokozni a korszerűsítési erőfeszítéseket annak érdekében, hogy az építőipar a szükséges mértékben hozzájáruljon a 2050-re teljesítendő uniós klímasemlegességi célkitűzéshez, valamint hogy megvalósuljon a méltányos és igazságos zöld átállás.
