Statement by the High Representative on behalf of the European Union on the alignment of certain third countries with Council Decision (CFSP) 2023/193 of 30 January 2023 amending Decision 2014/145/CFSP concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine

The Council adopted conclusions on the revised EU list of non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes. A total of 16 countries have either not engaged in a constructive dialogue with the EU on tax governance or have failed to deliver on their commitments to implement the necessary reforms.

The Council today adopted a decision authorising member states to ratify, in the interest of the EU, the Second Additional Protocol to the Convention on Cybercrime (Budapest Convention).

On Wednesday Chair of EP’s Committee on Culture and Education Sabine Verheyen (EPP,DE) will hold a press conference in Strasbourg together with Ukrainian band “Kalush Orchestra”.
