On 23 March 2023, UN Secretary General António Guterres joined the European Council. They agreed on the importance of EU-UN cooperation to tackle the global challenges and stressed their shared commitment to multilateralism.

Main messages from the Tripartite Social Summit, 22 March 2023.

The President of the Eurogroup, Paschal Donohoe, has sent a letter to the President of the Euro Summit, Charles Michel, to report on the work of the Eurogroup. The letter will inform the discussion that Leaders will hold at the upcoming Euro Summit.

The Budgetary Control Committee recommended signing off the Commission’s budget, while voicing concerns on the limited options to check the use of recovery funding.

President Michel invited the members of the European Council to the meeting taking place on 23-24 March 2023. They will start with an exchange of views with UN Secretary General Guterres.
