A mother of three in the UK was sentenced to more than two years in prison on Wednesday after using medication she received under the "pills by post" scheme during the Covid Lockdown to induce an abortion in the 32nd week of pregnancy. The procedure was legal only until the 10th week. Opinions differ widely on whether the sentence is just or too harsh.

Trump, who denies the allegations, could face ten or more years in prison.

Debate: Nato: what's on offer for Ukraine?

The next Nato summit takes place in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius in July. According to Nato Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, the focus will be on "how we can bring Ukraine closer to Nato, where it belongs". The alliance is working on a multi-year, well-financed support package. For commentators that is not enough.
