Tens of thousands of people demonstrated against racism and the government's populits policies in Milan on Saturday. The demo's slogan: "People first" plays on the "The Italians first" slogan of Lega leader and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, who takes a hard line against migrants. After three years in the opposition the liberal Reform Party won Estonia's parliamentary elections on Sunday with just under 29 percent of the vote, and will once again return to government. Opinion polls put the social-liberal Centre Party in front, however the high number of e-voters benefited the Reform Party in the end. Leader Kaja Kallas now stands to be the country's first woman prime minister.

The second summit meeting between Trump and Kim came to an abrupt end without results on Thursday. The two leaders failed to reach an agreement on denuclearisation and an end to US sanctions against North Korea in Hanoi. What conclusions should we draw from this?
