EU ambassadors today endorsed the Council's position on establishing a technical support instrument to foster recovery from the COVID-19 crisis.

The Council today endorsed its partial negotiating mandate on proposals for more funding and flexibility to help the COVID-19 recovery.

After intense negotiations EU leaders agreed to a comprehensive package of €1 824.3 billion which combines an extraordinary recovery effort and the 2021-2027 budget to rebuild after the pandemic and launch the green and digital transitions.

Az Európai Tanács 2020. július 21-én következtetéseket fogadott el a helyreállítási tervről és a 2021–2027-re szóló többéves pénzügyi keretről.

A Tanács első olvasatban elfogadta álláspontját a közösségi finanszírozási platformok működését megkönnyítő új szabályozási keretről, amely egyúttal a befektetők magas szintű védelmét is biztosítja.

A Tanács határozatokat fogadott el, amelyek lehetővé teszik, hogy az EU és Kína aláírja a földrajzi árujelzőkkel kapcsolatos együttműködésről, valamint azok oltalmáról szóló megállapodást.

A Tanács elfogadta a tagállami foglalkoztatási, költségvetési és gazdaságpolitikákról szóló 2020. évi országspecifikus ajánlásait és véleményeit, valamint az euróövezetre vonatkozó ajánlását.

Following the first review under the recommendation on the gradual lifting of the temporary restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU, the Council updated the list of countries for which travel restrictions should be lifted.

Az EU a Nemzetközi Büntető Igazságszolgáltatás Napján nyilatkozatot adott ki, amelyben újólag megerősíti elkötelezettségét a Római Statútumban foglalt elvek és értékek fenntartása és védelme, valamint a Nemzetközi Büntetőbíróság támogatása iránt.

Az EU nyilatkozatot adott ki a Malaysia Airlines MH17-es járata lelövésének hatodik évfordulója alkalmából: a tragédia 298 ember életét követelte, akik 17 különböző ország állampolgárai voltak.

At the press conference following the 15th EU-India summit, President Charles Michel highlighted the main issues discussed during the video conference, including the COVID-19 pandemic and cooperation in different areas in the context of the EU-India Strategic Partnership.

The 15th EU-India summit was held via video conference on 15th July 2020. India was represented by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The EU was represented by European Council President Charles Michel and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
