A Tanács határozatot fogadott el az Európai Békekeret létrehozásáról, amely egy olyan, a 2021–2027-es időszakra hozzávetőleg 5 milliárd EUR kerettel rendelkező, költségvetésen kívüli alap, amely az EU-nak a KKBP keretébe tartozó valamennyi katonai vagy védelmi vonatkozású külső tevékenységét fedezi.
